Day 1 post Surgery
So i slept with my legs elevated last night. it was not comfortable at all. Yu are remminder all through the night of the pain. I did as my preop nurse suggested and took my first pain pill about 30min prior to attempting to go to sleep. I do think it help but it did not stop the pain.
I been using a walker with wheels to help me get around. i usually have to stand up to sit on the walker and wheel myself where every i go. ( trust me it help) I can put pressure on my legs but boys does it hurt and burn when you stand up.
I been wheeling the walking to the bath room door then walking into the bathroom and you can feel the burn. Not to mention you are very uneasy or unbalance as you walk. or if your a guy standing to used the bathroom you feel yourself wobbling.
Now my wife said the doc told her to ice 3-4 times a days. Like i said before check with your doctor/surgery center to see if they will send you home with ice pack. ( mind didn't)
Luckily I was prepared so i had brought several different ice pack unsure which one to use or like.
Because I have 3 incisions I like the kold ice pack.(I brought them from Amazon). They are big enough to cover the incisions and have straps for tighten.
