Day 4
The day has started off pretty good. I am up and moving.
I put back on the compression sleeve as that is what was part of my followup instruction. I must admit it was nice having the sleeve off yesterday.
I am really trying to gauge the number of steps I take when walking. over the last few days I have been using a rollatior to assist me in getting around and this has even help when I have been walking.
If you don't have one I would suggest you go to a pawn shop or check with a local church or a thrift store or see if you can rent one to see if you can find one for cheap. I wouldn't order one as you won't need it probably after you recover then you have spent a lot of money on something sitting around the house.
A rollator is great i have been able to sit and wheel myself around using my feet to help push me allowing me to use them without putting to much pressure on them. then if i decide i want to do a little walking I can do so and still take pressure off my legs.
My right leg and knee feel a little better today. still not really able to bend the knee but I am able to walk and put some pressure on it. I still have this sensation or feeling as if something is running down the inside of my right leg going toward my ankle. it still burns but not nearly as bad as the past few days.
My right ankle and leg are still swollen but again not as bad as the day before.
Whenever i am sitting i am trying to elevate. sometime when moving my leg into the elevation position i get the fluid and burning sensation .
Icing REALLY helps it feels so good especially the burning. In fact a lot of the time when icing it so nice and refreshing i end up falling alseep.
I have been icing the back of the calf of my right leg and have notice that seem to be helping. its still tight but not as painful
